CASTLES IN THE AREA
Groeneveld Castle in Baarn is an 18th-century country estate and one of the finest examples of a country house from that era. You can visit the castle and have a cup of coffee or tea in the Grand Café.
De Haar Castle is also highly recommended for lovers of castles. It is the largest and most luxurious castle in the Netherlands. In addition, the Utrechtse Heuvelrug has many more historic country estates worth visiting.
